I believe so! Please check your messages also for the details. 
I had the same problem with my HP printer. My network picked up the printer but I didn’t realize it needed to be added. Not sure which distro of Linux you are adding but search for your printer and add it to your system. You should be able to print then.

I contacted you earlier reference not being able to print over wireless network. I solved the problem by installing Zorin OS and found the answer in software!

You did? Did I miss it (it can happen when I’m not tagged or directly responded to)? If I did, I apologize. I handle dozens of requests daily and at times my memory fails me & I apologize for it.
