I have a Samsung Notebook NP940X5N that I am having a a couple of issues with. With Windows, it had what they call Samsung Tools. Most everything works, except the backlight keyboard. I found a forum for this issue, but the last entry was about 7 years ago, and nothing on there has worked for me. You can no longer ask anything as it looks to be shut down. Cannot even register. I have tried many other things to get this to work and cannot find anything. The function key will work for everything but the keyboard.
If anyone has any idea how I can get this to work, I would appreciate the help. I have loaded Kubuntu on this and other laptops, and the keyboard backlight works no problem.
