Has anyone deleted the personal data from your car?

Here’s an interesting YouTube dated 9/5/2024 that both describes the problem, and offers a remedy:

Modern cars have been described as “iPads on wheels”. General Motors was recently sued by the State of Texas for collecting and selling detailed data about drivers to insurance companies and data brokers without the informed consent of GM customers.

This video explains a free tool you can use to find out what data your car is collecting, who it is being sold to / shared with, and how you can delete that data.
