I’ve been testing live USB with persistence. It started with a post on one of the channels about using Ubuntu or MX Linux using either of several methods.
My interest lies in a portable Linux distro that I can have diagnostic tools on that can be booted on any computer and used as you would your laptop per se. Create docs, install software, downloads, etc. Shut down, remove the USB and put it in another computer, boot up and my stuff all be there.
After several hours of testing over 2 days, I have one that works. I’ll be back soon with details.
