I am new to Linux; however, I found this tutorial and want to share it with others beginners like me
The Linux command line
Thanks for sharing! Iām trying to learn as much as I can about the command line and what commands are different for each distro. For example, I discovered I canāt use āapt-getā on my BionicPup32 distro. Iāll get it figured out one day!
I thought this was a good site, as well: LinuxCommand.org: Learn The Linux Command Line. Write Shell Scripts.
Plus, they have an area where you can get a free downloadable book āThe Linux Command Lineā. I havenāt read through all of it yet (just skimmed).
Thanks. I have bookmarked it for my command line deep dive next week. That is where the āpowerā is!! HAHA
Cheers!
Thanks @TheKrankyGirl great resources, will go through them this weekend. We could look for some projects to apply whatever we are learning, any leads @jp ?
Thanks @TheKrankyGirl I have bokmarked that as well. I will download that book when I am done typing.
Cheers!
Thank you. Bookmarked for future reference.
Great finding! working in this book now
TY for sharing! The command line reminds me of running Win 3.1 DOS. Which is something I missed as the different versions of Windows came out. So glad I finally switched to Linux! And found Jeff on Telegram LOL
Thank you for the links! Very helpful.
