Hello community,
A newbie here, but generally OK with tech so hope I can make a flying start with Linux. Really want to gain independence from the spying big tech, and with my MacBook Pro failing on me, it seems like the right moment to explore moving fully to Linux on my recently purchased Samsung S8. My guess is that the hardware is def good enough to run a smooth Linux experience.
Any recommendations on where to start with some good instructions or guidance on how to do this? Is it recommended to run it on top of Android, or does that defeat the purpose and you’re still tied to Android / Google?
