Yes, I did check and Prober is installed and I did add the line at the end and save. Still no “visible” grub. But I can navigate by arrow keys and select either distro just knowing where the options should be. I thought I had the answer with the HP by comparing the files. But they are identical except for the Prober line I added on the MacBook. Head scratcher for sure. Its there. Just hiding.
