I noticed from my CyberPanel that the bandwidth usage is many times over the allowed amount. However, I can’t tell if it’s slowing down access to my site… What does this “bandwidth” actually mean and how do I know if it’s actually too busy?
If this is a real problem, what do I need to do to fix it?

There is zero need to worry about that. It is informational only via the default “bars” it’s assigned. It has literally no effect on the capacity or the performance of your VPS. They’re just some values put in during the initial installation. For your bandwidth and capacity, trust the logs of your VPS provider and nothing else.

When I first noticed this, I checked my VPS and know I have plenty of room in all areas, so it was puzzling.
Good to know those numbers are not real, like many things in the world.

You’re most welcome! These measurement bars are just there to inform people of their “quota.” However, we don’t have a mechanism in place to enforce them, so you can use the maximum available on your VPS.
