Computer won't boot from USB

I just purchased a new computer. ASUS PN51 barebones, I installed the drive (WD NVME), successfully installed Manjaro, which I like, but doesn’t fit my needs, as I need to install Citrix Workspace for work, and it’s incompatible. I installed the ISO for MX-21 KDE version .iso to a USB. It did work once, but I was only able to run the live version, and not able to install; it never progressed past the partitioning phase (0% progress). When I rebooted to try again, the USB doesn’t appear in the boot order options. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. I can still get into Manjaro.

I have secure boot and fast boot disabled.

How do I get the computer to boot to the .iso on the USB so that I can install MX linux?

I would attempt to redo the USB or try another one.

Not unheard of them dying like that.
