I want to close my Paypal account. I log in. It wants me to accept cookies and it wants a mobile phone number. No settings available. No other options. Does anyone know how to get around this? Thanks.
Paypal had the ph number already (+cookies) and sent a verification to that number. Then my wife was able to close the account which she had for over 5 years. I then closed my Venmo account because Paypal owns Venmo, and I don’t want anything to do with these people. Sad, the products were handy, but there are other choices out there.

Thank you for your reply. It is appreciated. I had thought of doing that, but I don’t trust them. I don’t want to give them something they don’t already have and HOPE they discard it after I unsubscribe. I suspect in their system it is like the internet: It is forever. They will have that info for ever and a day. Thank you so very much for your help and have a wonderful day.
