I accepted an upgrade for Ubuntu Studio through the native Discover app yesterday. After restarting, Brave and Slack would not start up. The icons would animate like normal when I clicked on them, but then stop and the apps would not open. I removed them through the Discover app and reinstalled them. They work now, but does anyone know what happened? Was there a faster way to get them working again? Do OS upgrades do that from time to time?
